Baptism is the beginning of our Christian journey. To have your child baptised is to commit as parents and godparents to pass on and practise the Catholic faith. To arrange a baptism, please speak to one of the Fathers after Mass. He will arrange to meet with you to organise and prepare for the baptism.
Confessions are heard before every Mass and at the Oratory from 11:30am to 12 noon, from Monday to Saturday. Don’t worry if you are unsure what to do, or haven’t been to confession for a while, there are leaflets outside the confessional doors and the priest is there to help you. Confessions may also be heard outside of these times, if possible, by calling at the Oratory House.
We begin preparing children for First Confession and First Holy Communion in September, with weekday afternoon classes, that run until each individual is ready. If you want your child to join these classes, please meet with Fr David to obtain a registration form. Please contact Fr David for more information.
If you, or someone you know, is housebound and would like to be brought Holy Communion at home, please contact Fr Daniel.
We begin preparing for Confirmation in September, with Sunday evening classes, that run until each individual is ready. To join these classes, please meet with Fr David to obtain a registration form. Please contact Fr David for more information.
In order to be married in our church three things are needed: marriage preparation, the completion of all civil and church paperwork, and the arrangement of the ceremony itself (readings, music, flowers, bells, etc). To begin the process please contact Fr Daniel.
If you, or someone you know, would like to receive the Sacrament of the Sick, please contact Fr Daniel.
When a Catholic dies, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is offered for the repose of their soul. In order to arrange a funeral, please speak to the funeral directors in the first instance, who should then contact us. It is an excellent idea to leave written instructions if you wish to have a Requiem Mass offered for you when you die.
