The Oratory is a Jubilee Church

The Oratory Church has been designated as a place of pilgrimage during the Holy Year, which means that each day you can gain the Jubilee Indulgence here - from 29th December, when the Holy Year is inaugurated in the Diocese of Middlesbrough.

A Plenary Indulgence may be gained in our church under the usual conditions of prayer for the Holy Father’s intentions, Confession and Holy Communion (within a few days), and detachment from sin. The Indulgence may be applied to the faithful departed.
